- The Product Checklist in P2WORLD Planning is an enhancement of
the basic management product in PRINCE2™, displayed as a table within its own window. It grows as
products are added — directly to the Product Checklist, or through the Product Breakdown
Structure, or through the Product Flow Diagram
- The Product Checklist displays the product hierarchy that exactly matches the PBS.
- Product type information is also captured
- Fields are provided to capture progress information (i.e. planned and actual dates for draft ready,
quality check, approval)
- Collapse or expand products to show just the level of detail that you need on Product Checklist, PBS, PFD
- Identify “project level” products to be used for status reporting to higher management
- Define which Intermediate products will be shown on PFD
- Assign progress states to each product and see that information displayed on the PBS and PFD
- Products are “dragged and dropped” from the Product Checklist into the Activity
window to populate Stages and Work Packages. Thus ensuring the integrity and consistency of the product
and the activity views
